Embrace your closing doors and changing chapters…

Change is inevitable and sometimes we accept it willingly and other times, not so much.  It’s difficult to move on when we are currently fulfilled with where we are, especially when it’s not our choice.  Sometimes, we have no other option and one of the hardest things to do is…. close a door when we’re not ready.  It’s tough to do anything with a contented mind-set when things feel forced.   All too often, we want to hold on to that place we’ve become habitually happy for just a little longer.  Life becomes real when letting go slaps us in the face.  For me, closing doors = letting go, and whether it may or may not be optional, it remains crucial in order for growth to ensue.

With that….. it's important to remember to pick your head up and be optimistic, for the ever-dreaded-closing-door generates one to open... that will surely follow every time.  We have to compel ourselves to look through that door at chapters end… and silently know the gift of the next chapter will arise as soon as we embrace it.  After all, the unforeseen future may be a hidden gain that otherwise would have never been discovered if we chose to remain in a world where no doors exist.  We can't allow our selves to get stuck between chapters, for we will undoubtedly become trapped in a life that is mind-numbing, non opportune, and stationary.

Life is about ever changing doors and continuous chapters.   A new door, creates a new day and it all becomes written upon the pages of our lives.
*Embrace your next chapter with affirmative acceptance.*

"It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power."
