Things of Dreams...
Daydreaming can be so blissful and almost relaxing and calming sometimes. Here are some things that I like to drift away to these days.

Back where you belong...
This is one of the many reasons I love this man's work. He depicts the intense passion of certain situations that I feel have slowly faded away over time. I don't really know why that is, Maybe because we have too many other things to focus on nowadays and we become distracted and removed. It just seems to me that men and women were more connected in this era and shared so much romance as a couple.
If all reunions could be this passionate and romantic...
**sigh**

Some things...
take us back to our childhood, when life was as simple as picking blackberries straight off the vine and eating them.

Embrace your closing doors and changing chapters…
Change is inevitable and sometimes we accept it willingly and other times, not so much. It’s difficult to move on when we are currently fulfilled with where we are, especially when it’s not our choice. Sometimes, we have no other option and one of the hardest things to do is…. close a door when we’re not ready. It’s tough to do anything with a contented mind-set when things feel forced. All too often, we want to hold on to that place we’ve become habitually happy for just a little longer. Life becomes real when letting go slaps us in the face. For me, closing doors = letting go, and whether it may or may not be optional, it remains crucial in order for growth to ensue.
With that….. it's important to remember to pick your head up and be optimistic, for the ever-dreaded-closing-door generates one to open... that will surely follow every time. We have to compel ourselves to look through that door at chapters end… and silently know the gift of the next chapter will arise as soon as we embrace it. After all, the unforeseen future may be a hidden gain that otherwise would have never been discovered if we chose to remain in a world where no doors exist. We can't allow our selves to get stuck between chapters, for we will undoubtedly become trapped in a life that is mind-numbing, non opportune, and stationary.
Life is about ever changing doors and continuous chapters. A new door, creates a new day and it all becomes written upon the pages of our lives.
*Embrace your next chapter with affirmative acceptance.*
"It takes a lot of courage to release the familiar and seemingly secure, to embrace the new. But there is no real security in what is no longer meaningful. There is more security in the adventurous and exciting, for in movement there is life, and in change there is power."

Jack Vettriano speaks...
I've randomly come across this contemporary artist and have instantly become fascinated with a lot of his paintings for so many reasons. Most are based from the film noir era which is a style that emphasized cynical attitude and passionate motivation. Can we say burning desire?!?
It's hard to pick a favorite, but today, this one is mine.... because it depicts extreme passion and yearning on the man's behalf while the woman is cautiously accepting (well in my opinion).

The MoUntaiNs...
ReviVe mY SouL eVerYtiMe.
I am back in the mountains for the summer and I can't help but feel more alive here. There is just something about this place that brings me an extreme sense of peace. Here...infinite beauty surrounds me, the everlasting crisp air wakens me, and the sound of a birds chirp seems, just happier. Thank you God for this haven you've give me the opportunity to seize... I so needed this.

Timing is Everything...
TIME...
When we take it for granted...we all wish for just one more day.
When we take it for granted...we all wish for just one more day.
Instead we're left standing frozen with our hands in the air stunned and perhaps perplexed.
Take the time to face whatever needs to be faced.
Take the time to see who needs to be seen.
Take the time to do what needs to be done.
Take the time to finish what needs to be finished.
Take the time...cause if you don't...you'll always wish you had
...just one more day.

Currently Contented...
I am thankful today for....
**My friends... and the time we've spent together, along with the journeys we've taken.
**This child... and the strong will he's already showing.
"One who acquires strength, overcomes" -rwe
**This view... because it brings me back to such a peaceful place, everytime.
Climb the mountains and get their good tidings. Nature's peace will flow into you as sunshine flows into trees. The winds will blow their own freshness into you, and the storms their energy, while cares will drop off like autumn leaves. ~John Muir
**The American Flag... and what it means to our soldiers, families, and loved ones that have made so many sacrifices for it.
