Set on Repeat

There is something about "finding" an album that you constantly put on repeat and just can't quite get enough of....

...it speaks, and makes me feel what I truly need.

Very grateful for those who can recognize and understand passion and realness, in music....and in life.... even though they may not know it.

Out with the OLD...in with the NEW

After a week of cleaning up, cleaning out, organizing, and reorganizing, I have a car full of  "stuff" to take to Goodwill to donate.  It's necessary to do this every year, but this year was more serious than ever.  EVERYTHING MUST GO!

At one point, it's very freeing to be rid of these old things you never use anymore that essentially just take up space but also, somewhat sad.  Should I be keeping old books that I've read?  CD's that I've collected?  The un-mated inscribed glass from my high school prom?  I'm in a mood so I really don't hesitate to toss everything... but will one day I wish I hadn't?

I don't know, but right now I'm clinging to the feeling of being clutter free and minimalistic!

Another Year....

 I have a slight feeling that this New Year will bring many challenges.  I'm already sensing that it's going to be hard, but I can do nothing but welcome it.  Deep down, it gives me a nervous excitement because when "tough" is presented, there are choices to be made... and that is what makes it exciting.  

Learning followed by growing will be my action this year!
