Special People

HOLY COW...I just LOVE this lady to pieces!!  Ever have those certain people in your life that just make you happy, no matter what is going on in your day when you see them?  This lady is one of those people to me!  She overwhelms me with hugs and kisses EVERY time I see her and is ALWAYS so jovial!  I haven't seen her since the new year and I was extremely grateful to have run into her today!  Thank you for making my day little lady!

Music to my Ears

I discovered a new song this morning when I saw a video that my friend made for one of her graduate classes. Fortunately for me, she gave the artist song and title at the end of her cute little creation. I love to find new artists, especially ones people haven't really discovered yet. I may be out of the loop but I've never heard this song or artist before. I'm glad I discovered it so early this Thursday morning. :)

Comfort Food Found Fast

This week has been about comfort food for the most part as me and hubby have been a little under the weather. Today didn't help a bit as it was cold, wet, and dreary. I found this recipe online, liked it, adapted it, and made it tonight for us sickies in hopes it would warm us up and bring us a day closer to feeling better.

CREATURE COMFORTS

We all have our "Creature Comforts"... even our Pets (ok some of them!) Our 1 yr old doggie enjoys her blankee just as much some human kids do, it's unbelievable. She loves to drag it around the house when she's excited, take it to bed with her at night, and play with it in the mornings when she gets up! All the while...stumbling every bit of the way as it hangs from her mouth, while she tries to maneuver around the room. I know I know, it's a bit silly, but I think it's absolutely hilarious! This morning, she clung to it more so than normal, and as many times as I see her do it, it cracks me up so much. I'm so thankful for our Lil Baby C and the many laughs she creates within me, especially today!

This is an Easy One

Today was obvious b/c I received a gracious gift from a girlfriend for keeping her lab while she went on vacay! Such a fun surprise when the flower man knocks on your door and delivers an unexpected gift! I am grateful to have a friend who goes out of the way to show her appreciation...even though it's not required or expected. Thanks MR!
